Either way, you should consider what there is in your previous experience that ticks all your boxes. Or… it could be something entirely different.
“So, what do you do?”
Your One Thing should help make you instantly recognisable and understandable to people.
Imagine you are at a conference and someone asks you the classic question, “So, what do you do?” You have ten seconds to give a full response.
Please note, no one really cares what you actually do. What we all really care about is who you are and the results you deliver. So if your identity is focused on the activity you do, that’s second best. Always focus on the highest benefit, the breakthroughs you help people achieve.
